Pasvalys nursery school-kindergarten "Eglutė" was founded in 1970. Much attention is paid here to the development of various abilities of children. The main priority area of ​​activity is the development of children's health. The main strategic goal of the nursery school-kindergarten is the development of healthy lifestyle skills of all community members. There are 10 groups in the nursery school-kindergarten "Eglutė": 2 preschool education, 6 preschool education and 2 early childhood groups. In 1996, the nursery school-kindergarten "Eglutė" chose the direction of healthy lifestyle education, is a member of the republican association of preschool educators "Healthy Herbs". It participates in the republican projects: "Healthy School", "Health Festival", "Olympic Generation". Children's education in the institution is carried out according to the individual preschool education program "On the Path of Childhood" and the general program of preschool education. In 2000, the kindergarten was included in the Health Promoting Schools Network. In 2013–2017, the health promotion and preservation program of the kindergarten “Eglutė” was improved. For the development of health promotion ideas and the creation of a healthier society, the kindergarten “Eglutė” was awarded a letter of appreciation from the Deputy Minister of Health.
