In Viltis, the special educational needs of all children and special assistance in achieving each individual's achievements are the most important goal from the beginning of work to the present day. Cooperation with the family, learning partnership skills, each specialist's care to master newer, more advanced working methods, the search for innovations, and the possibilities of their application. These are the essential directions of our activity. The current business card of Vilnius "Viltis" special school-multifunctional center: In July 2012, the Vilnius Municipal Council adopted a decision to change the name of this Vilnius city educational institution, approve new regulations, and approve the structure. This happened after the implementation of the ESF-funded project "Development and modernization of the infrastructure of Vilnius Children's Disabled Education Center "Viltis". The result of this project was the construction of two new extensions: Physiotherapy and Employment; a total of 800m² of new construction and connections with the old building. After the project was completed, Day Social Care Departments for disabled children and adults were opened.
