Supply Manager
About the position
Our client is a wood supply company that has been successfully operating and expanding since 2012. The geography of timber exports is very wide, covering both Europe and India, Vietnam, China, other Asian countries and beyond. The company exports and imports boards, logs, beams and round timber. With the purposeful development of the company, a supply manager is sought who would streamline supply processes and teamwork.
Job description
Team management, motivation in organizing export work;
Adherence to planned plans, ensuring the achievement of overall results;
Involvement in the wood purchasing process: coordination of conditions, business trips;
Coordination of timber handling works, ensuring a smooth process;
Ongoing communication with existing suppliers to address emerging issues;
Ongoing cooperation with colleagues on logistics and other issues;
Timely solution of problem situations;
Preparation of reports and submission to the manager.
Requirements
Management experience in supply, purchasing or import / export;
Excellent planning, coordination and communication skills;
Excellent MS Office package management skills (especially MS Excel);
Category B driving license;
Orientation to details and result, flexibility, responsibility;
Knowledge of languages other than Lithuanian and English is an advantage.
