About the position
Voodoo's client is a leading electronics manufacturing company with Scandinavian capital, which has been operating for more than 20 years. Their products are exported to foreign markets (Scandinavia, Western Europe). The company is energetic, steadily growing, open to changes and innovations. As the team grows, a supply chain sourcing specialist is invited to join the supply team.
Job description
- Purchase goods, materials, components, and services in line with specified costs, quality and expected lead times
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
- Perform cost analysis, including logistics and unexpected cost.
- Search and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs, specifications, and requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
Requirements
- Higher education in engineering.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards; technical background.
- Experience in the industry or sector relevant to the company's operations is preferred
