A luxury 5-star hotel with restaurants, a spa complex and a private beach in Cyprus is looking for a Chef de Partie who will be responsible for a team of line chefs. The work is seasonal. The season is scheduled to start in March 2025 and the season ends at the end of October. The start and end dates may vary depending on the position.
Job description
Supervise junior chefs and train them in working methods and procedures.
Ensure the quality, taste, appearance and presentation of dishes.
Comply with all hygiene and safety requirements (HACCP) and ensure that other staff comply with them.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are clean and properly maintained.
Keep inventory of the department and control the use of products.
Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu improvements.
WORK SCHEDULE:
5 day working week - if the employee lives in Cyprus;
6 day working week - if the employee lives in a company apartment and does not pay for accommodation
5 day working week - if the employee lives in a company apartment but pays accommodation fees of €150 per month.
Requirements
Several years of experience in a professional kitchen;
Good culinary skills and the ability to prepare a variety of dishes;
Ability to lead a team and solve problems quickly and efficiently;
Excellent organisational and time management skills;
Knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations.

1. 13th and 14th salary (only staff with 10 months' service are entitled to the 14th salary).
