One of the largest and most modern dairy processing companies in Lithuania, ŽEMAITIJOS PIENAS, has its origins dating back to 1924. Surrounded by picturesque nature in the city of Telšiai, according to legend, in the ancient capital of Žemaitija, founded by the giant Džiugas on seven hills, the Telšiai dairy factory, which began its operations nearly a century ago, seemed to have quite a significant capacity at the time: it produced butter, cottage cheese, cream, and other dairy products.
