The origins of one of the largest and most modern milk processing companies in Lithuania - ŽEMAITIJAS PIENO company - begin in 1924. In the town of Telšiai, surrounded by picturesque nature, according to legend, the Telšiai dairy, which started operating in the capital of Žemaitija in the ancient times, founded by the giant Džiugo on the seven hills, then - almost a century ago - seemed to have a rather large capacity: it produced butter, cottage cheese, cream and other dairy products.
