The National Land Service under the Ministry of Agriculture was established on July 1, 2001. The mission of the National Land Service is to ensure the implementation of state policy in the areas of land management and administration, land reform, geodesy, cartography and real estate cadastre. Also, the National Land Service prepares draft legal acts necessary for further land management and administration, development of the land market, geodetic and cartographic activities, and the creation of georeferenced databases to regulate, methodically guide the aforementioned works and their control.
