The National Payment Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture (hereinafter - NMA) is the only accredited institution in Lithuania that administers state support for agriculture and rural development and European Union (hereinafter - EU) support for agriculture, rural development and fisheries, as well as their payment and control functions. . NMA is a budgetary institution financed from the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania and EU funds. NMA activities - in accordance with the competence of the law of the Republic of Lithuania, in accordance with the procedure established by EU legal acts and other legal acts, it implements Lithuanian agricultural, rural development and fisheries policy measures, administering state and EU support funds for agriculture, rural development and fisheries and ensuring control of their use.
