The municipal company "Vilnius miesto būstas" was established in 2008. May 28 Decision of the Vilnius City Municipality Council No. 1-474 during the restructuring of UAB "Bendruva". The company administers different forms of support for housing purchase and rental. SĮ "Vilniaus miesto būstas" is the largest company not only in Vilnius, but also in the entire country, currently administering and maintaining about 3,500 housing units, providing the most part of housing rental tax compensations, as well as taking care of the provision and development of social housing in the city of Vilnius.
