The State Data Agency is an institution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania that participates in the formation of state policy in the field of official statistics management assigned to the Minister of Finance and in the field of state data management, implements this policy and coordinates the preparation of official statistics in accordance with the provisions of Part I of the Official Statistics Program, and the processing of state data - in accordance with the State Data management program. Pursuant to the Law on Official Statistics and State Data Management of the Republic of Lithuania, the State Data Agency coordinates the activities of other institutions managing official statistics in the field of official statistics.
