Šiaulių plentas, JSC

in 1966 Šiauliai 4th road construction board (KSV-4) was established, which carried out capital construction and capital repair works on country roads. Road maintenance was taken care of by the Motorway Board. Now road maintenance is carried out by the state company Šiauliai Region Roads. The first major work that fell to the board was the most difficult section of the Bubiai - Kelmė road, which involved the largest earthworks - the excavations reached a depth of 24 m, the embankments took 20 m. Soon after, Šiauliai KSV-4 road workers built a beautiful section of road between Radviliškis and Šeduva. After the restoration of Lithuania's independence during public privatization in 1993, KSV-4 became a joint-stock company Šiaulių plentas, and in 2005 it was reorganized into a closed joint-stock company. Currently, the entire share capital is owned by private individuals. Works are performed by tender in various areas of Lithuania, Kaliningrad region, Poland. A major achievement of UAB "Šiaulių plentas" is the reconstruction of the reserve and main runways of the air base of the LK Air Force. The company focuses on new technologies, therefore it especially values those customers who themselves value quality, new materials and technologies.
