Closed joint-stock company "Parama" was established in 1991 in Lazdija district. The company carried out minor road repair works in the districts of Alytus, Marijampolė, Kalvarija, Vilkaviškis and Šakiai. Having acquired modern German road construction equipment and mechanisms, UAB "Parama" undertook more complex road construction works. The company reconstructed Likiškėlių street in Alytus, participated in the program of measures to improve traffic safety carried out by the Lithuanian Road Directorate (maintenance of intersections, installation of pedestrian and bicycle paths), carried out gravel road programs, environmental management works of IKI shopping centers, laid and repaired asphalt concrete pavement in Alytus and Marijampole counties. In recent years, work has been carried out in facilities financed by Phare funds.
